This webinar will be hosted via Zoom for national and international attendees on Monday, March 20th, 2023 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm ET.

Course Description:

Participants will learn about the foundations of who Deaf English Language Learners (ELL) are, in various school settings across the United States, and practical strategies for working with this population within these different educational settings. Considerations for student language levels (across all of their languages), hearing levels, amplification, familial support, and educational settings and available tools will be discussed.

8:00-8:10: Strategies for Oral Deaf/Hard of Hearing ELLs

8:15-8:45: Practical Application: Audience Practice Session

8:45-9:00: Q&A
