Course Description:
This course offers a comprehensive exploration into the intricate world of DeafBlind language and culture through the lens of Mr. Corning's rich educational experiences, diverse journey, and extensive work within multicultural and multilingual contexts. Participants will delve into the nuanced dynamics of communication within the DeafBlind community, focusing on the evolution from traditional tactile sign language to the groundbreaking ProTactile communication.

1:00-1:20: ProTactile vs. Tactile Sign Language: Unpacking the evolution of tactile sign language and its transition to ProTactile communication

You will receive an email with instructions on how to participate as well as a Google Calendar invite with the Zoom link one week prior to the event. Registration ends one day prior to the webinar.
